This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations, amendments, and refunds are handled for bookings made through https://flightcatchr.com. All changes are governed by the respective airline or service provider’s rules, and FlightCatchr facilitates the process on behalf of customers.
1. Flight Cancellation Policy
All flight bookings made through FlightCatchr are subject to the airline’s fare rules and cancellation conditions. These vary by:
- airline
- fare type or booking class
- route and travel date
Important points:
- Some fares are fully non-refundable.
- Some tickets cannot be cancelled or changed once issued.
- Partial cancellations may not be permitted on certain fares.
To request a cancellation, please email us at help@flightcatchr.com. For last-minute cancellations (within 24 hours of departure), we strongly recommend contacting the airline directly first and then emailing us for refund processing.
If you cancel directly with the airline, the refund will be processed as per the airline’s policy. FlightCatchr will only refund the amount received from the airline.
In the case of a “No-Show,” refunds are strictly subject to airline rules. Many airlines offer little or no refund for No-Show cases.
2. Ticket Amendments
Changes to flight dates, times, or passenger details are allowed only when permitted by the airline’s fare rules.
Amendments may involve:
- airline change fee
- fare difference between the old and new booking
- FlightCatchr service fee (if applicable)
In some cases, airlines may require customers to complete amendments directly through their official support channels.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds for cancelled flights will be processed only after:
- a cancellation request is submitted via email, and
- the airline confirms and releases the refund amount
Refund method:
- Refunds are credited to the original mode of payment.
- Processing time may vary depending on the airline and banking channels.
Typical timelines:
- Airline refund to FlightCatchr: 3–10 working days (varies by airline)
- Refund from FlightCatchr to customer:
- Credit/Debit Card: up to 72 hours after receipt from airline
- Bank transfer / Net banking: 3–7 working days
Refunds for No-Show, partially used tickets, or promotional fares depend entirely on the airline’s rules.
4. Service Fees
FlightCatchr may charge a small service fee for processing cancellations or amendments. This fee is separate from airline charges and is non-refundable.
The exact fee (if applicable) will be communicated before processing any request.
